What We Do?

  • Promotes and co-ordinates the apostolate of the laity and their Christian life
  • The duty of coordinating MCA and Mathrusangham lies with this commission and they are governed as per their byelaws.
  • To create awareness regarding the celebration of laity day.
  • The collection of laity day is to be used by this commission for the activities of lay ministry.
  • It fosters joint action among laypeople in catechetical instruction, in liturgical and sacramental life as well as in works of mercy, charity, and social development
