In consultation with His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos and His Grace Archbishop Thomas Mar Koorilos, I have relieved Very Rev. Msgr. Varghese Angadiyil from the office of Protosyncellus and associated responsibilities of this Eparchy with effect from 31 March 2022.

He shall return to the Archieparchy of Tiruvalla, the Archieparchy of his priestly ascription.

I take this opportunity to thank Msgr. Angadiyil, on behalf of the Eparchy of St. Ephrem, for his entire priestly and pastoral ministry in the Eparchy from 14 September 2020 till date.

He has contributed to build up the ecumenical relationships in Pune and to strengthen the pastoral life of the Eparchy with its ecclesial and social commitment.

As the Protosyncellus, he stood firmly with his convictions and tried his best to establish his vision.

On behalf of the Presbyterium, the Religious and the Laity of the Eparchy I thank him for his leadership.

I wish him all success in his new assignment and priestly ministry in the Archieparchy of Tiruvalla!
